THE TYPES OF DIFFUSION
Diffusers come in many different types, the actual meaning of Diffusion is the spreading of something more widely. Basically the disbursement of scent in the air.
In this page you will read about the different types of diffusion and the key advantages and disadvantages of each type.
WATER BASED DIFFUSION
Water-based diffusion uses electronic frequencies to create vibrations in the water which produces a mist from water and scenting oil and is then dispersed into the air.
Because it uses water, some people also call it a Humidifier. This type of diffusion is most affordable for some markets. These diffusers contain a basin that you fill with water and oils of choice. As you use the oil diffuser and add different oils in, there is a high chance of oil buildup that can form a film in the water basin. Sometimes, this can cover the sensor that helps the machine operate and diffuse.
Reed diffusion is made up of three parts the reeds, the bottle and most importantly the scenting oil.
Reed diffusion works by placing the reeds into the bottle allowing the reeds to soak up with scenting oil and is regularly flipped to disperse the fragrance.
Reed diffusers do not last as long as there is oil in the bottle. This oil diffuser does not produce a mist that is generally associated with diffusers. In terms of maintaining it in a good condition, it is quite cumbersome you will want to use different reeds when changing scents or bottles. If you are using the same bottle for different oils, you will also want to clean out the bottles with mild dish soap and warm water.
While reed diffusers can be used in any type of room, they are best for very small spaces simply because there is no agent that disperses the scent around. By this, we mean there is no mist pushed into the air or a fan to spread the scent. Therefore, the scent may be more isolated.
Our diffusers are beautifully designed and use patented ultrasonic and nebulisation technology that transforms your favorite fragrance into ultra dry nano-particles that diffuse scent by misting subtly throughout your space, without the use of heat, water, or evaporation. Giving you a near silent diffusion and super strong aroma.
